Holden Jackaroo "Rigout" Edition

Back in July I posted a pic of this advert: Rigout
The other day, I found some crappy photos of one.
I really like the brush guard and vintage decals.

Trooper with no rear speakers?

Took advantage of the 50% off deal going on at PnP today and saw something I have never seen before.  This Trooper apparently came without speakers or a cubby in the cargo area.  I didn't know this was an option you could leave out.

The fire was started by a four-wheel drive vehicle that got stuck in the dunes and burst into flames.

The Black Nightmare

I gotta give prop's to this Rodeo, 'cause it is pretty sick.

This site: Humster3d has some cool 3D models for sale including a 3D VX and a few other Isuzus. I would love to see a 3D 1st gen Trooper up there!

If only...1962 Isuzu Elf restore project.

I've never seen one of these for sale in the US.  They are probably quite abundant over in Japan, but I would imagine here they must have been imported on a very, very limited basis.  I never even knew ANY of these old little pickups existed here.  If only I had the time, money and space, this would make a perfect parts hauler/work truck.

'76 Opel by Isuzu @ Salt City Tinners

Every so often I have to travel for work, and this time it was to Salt Lake City.  I didn't even know it at first, but a fellow PlanetIsuzoo forum member who has been slowly restoring his '76 Opel (1st gen Gemini) actually lives in Salt Lake. And as happenstance would have it, he just finished buttoning it up in time to bring it to Salt City Tinners, the town's annual Japanese vintage car gathering just south of SLC in Sandy, UT.  I found this out late in the game, but I made it down to the event just in time to see the car. How cool is that?
I like the front clip on these 1st gen Geminis, much more appealing than the later models.

Now THERE'S something you don't see everyday...

If you look closely, you will see five Isuzus in this photo, including two identical '89 RSes.
A couple weeks ago I got word from a fellow PlanetIsuzoo member that he had an '89 RS for sale, just like mine. So we got to talking, and we struck a deal.  So why would I need a second Trooper RS?
